Newbie here. Just got our DX for my Gracie

After 9 years we finally have an answer. Hello, my name is Cole and I'm the father of Gracie. Nine years of doctors telling us they didn't know what's wrong or she is delayed was very frustrating to say the least. Finally Gracie's teacher said, "have you heard about Angelman's?" That started the ball rolling. After several DNA test we got the call. Angelmans. Mutated gene.

Just wanted to stop by and say hi. I'll be joining in shortly. Thanks for this wonderful site.

I am so glad you found this site. Getting the dx for us was a relief and mixed in saddness. but once we found this site and angelman.org I saw hope and alot of happiness from the families. I hope you find the same Smile

We too got the diagnosis when Colin was nine. I found it was a relief to know that Colin is a 'normal' Angel and that we are not alone.
